Sarah Martinson is a senior reporter covering legal tech at the online legal news publication Law360. She is a versatile wordsmith whose work ranges from daily news stories to long-form investigative features. Most recently, she has been working on Law360 Pulse's legal tech section launch. In October, Law360's Access to Justice published a 3,500-word investigative piece by her about proposed reforms to the U.S. military justice system that has been criticized over its mishandling of sexual assault cases. She was interviewed on Law360's Pro Say podcast about the story. Other topics that she reported on are President Biden's failure to take action on his criminal justice reform campaign promises, the U.S. movement to end excessively long incarceration sentences, rape kit backlogs, expungement of criminal records for human trafficking survivors and the legal industry's efforts to address attorney mental health issues. She aspires to take her writing to the next level in the form of novels and nonfiction books.
